Is a huge challenge to connect with communities due to their cultural habits. We use specific strategies to maximize the impact of our activities. Constantly delivering key messages through targeted meetings and flayers distribution what help to greater awareness about the child mortality study. Therefore, community involvement, with the support of local leaders, are crucial for the success of the research. Teamwork has been essential for community mobilization. We had to instill a sense of ownership within the community, engaging them to commit to CHAMPS' objectives, involving community and religious leaders, which facilitated the reporting system and the study implementation, and thus, translated into data to action.
