Within the scope of Data to Action, the work being carried out with the CHAMPS project in the Quelimane District and at Quelimane Central Hospital represents a key step in promoting neonatal and child health in the region. By integrating healthcare professionals and local communities, CHAMPS fosters a coordinated and responsive approach to the specific needs of high-risk prenatal care. The CHAMPS approach improves the quality of care and reduces neonatal morbidity and mortality associated with poor care and low-quality assistance.
