Jennifer Swanson is an epidemiologist with nearly 15 years of experience supporting global health programs, including leading prevention of vertical transmission of HIV efforts across PEPFAR-supported countries at the CDC. She focused on improving treatment continuity for pregnant and breastfeeding women and infants, combining data analysis with program strategy in 20 countries, and provided comprehensive program support to Nigeria, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
She has contributed to numerous publications and presentations on HIV, maternal and child health, and health systems strengthening. A former Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania, she holds an MPH from Emory University and has a background in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and program implementation.
